Meet Dr. MALCOM Chang


Dr. Chang was born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii and is a graduate of Saint Louis School. He received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City and doctorate of dental surgery from the University of Southern California School of Dentistry in 1976.

Dr. Chang has actively practiced general dentistry in Kahala since 1977.

Dr. Chang is the 2022 recipient of the Dr. Beverly B. McCollum Award, which is the highest honor conveyed by the International Academy of Gnathology. The award recognizes those who have contributed significantly to the clinical application and educational advancement of Gnathology.

Dr. Chang is married to Lisa and has two daughters, Lauren and Ashley, and a grandson Karter.
